Isle of Roses Kite School organises one-week kitesurf courses from a sailing catamaran on the amazing Emerald Coast in Sardinia, as well as one-day courses on Lake Garda on board of our catakite.
EMERALD COAST - SARDINIA - CORSICA
A holiday dedicated to sport for those who wish to practise and learn kitesurfing with a full-immersion course, while spending a few relaxing days immersed in the unspoilt Sardinian nature. A catamaran is the best way to fully enjoy the sea. Our Bali 4.3 is equipped with four cabins with private bathroom and can accomodate up to twelve people. We are based in Portisco Harbour, just twenty minutes away from Olbia airport. In order to learn kitesurfing, the wind is essential, so we are going to chase it on board of our catamaran...and we might as well find it off the most beautiful beaches of the Emerald Coast. Both kitesurfing sessions for experienced kitesurfers and kitesurfing lessons for beginners will be included in the price and will therefore be unlimited! Your instructor will always be there for you and will answer all your questions and clarify your doubts about the previous sessions. Lessons will be filmed with camera or drone in order to examin your mistakes after each session, while, at the same time, having a drink and relaxing in the cosy bow dinette with lounge and sunbathing area, or, alternatively, in the spacious indoor living area. You will be using our equipment and during the lesson in the water you will be given a helmet equipped with radio-transmitter so that you are always in contact with your instructor, who will follow you on board of his tender or e-foil for ongoing assistance. Lessons will follow IKO standards and you will be certified according to your level. In case the wind conditions do not allow kitesurfing, guests will have free access to the e-foil.
MALCESINE - GARDA LAKE
One-day kitesurf courses or lift-only are available in Malcesine using our catakite, tender or e-foil to guarantee ongoing and immediate assistance. By using helmets equipped with radio transmitters it will be possible to safely enjoy our courses, thanks to the constant wind the lake blesses us with. In case of insufficient wind, it will be possible to do wakeboarding, using a kite board pulled by our tender. In this way you will be able to improve and focus on the board without worrying about the sail. This will allow you to practise the right moves to manage the board during the waterstart when pulled by the kite. Thus, step by step, you will be able to learn safely and more quickly. To guarantee safety, lessons will follow IKO standards and you will be certified according to your level. After the lesson, it will be possible to watch the videos and go through your mistakes with the assistance of your instructor.
Rental fee includes kitesurf course and use of e-foil. It does not include food, drinks, mooring and fuel.
If you buy a kitesurf course for a friend they will either thank you for the rest of their life or they will curse you, as from now on they will end up choosing their holiday destination based on whether they can practise this amazing sport! You can choose your budget, the inscription you wish to appear on the voucher and the recipient will be able to choose accordingly among kitesurf, e-foil, wing foil courses or renting an e-foil from our catamaran on the Emerald Coast in Summer or other tropical destinations in the other seasons. Personalised vouchers can be replaced by normal vouchers -without inscription/name - and therefore used by or transferred to someone else. This will make sure it will be appreciated even in case it isn't used directly by the recipient for whatever reason. In case the recipient already practises the sports above, they will be able to use their voucher for lifts on Lake Garda or a kite-wing-e-foil holiday on our Bali 4.3 catamaran.
